Newly stylish and renovated villa, totally isolated and peaceful, situated in a peaceful and panoramic cliff over the Zinzulusa Cave, Castro, Salento, Lecce, South of Italy. 

Castro is named “the pearl of the Salento region”: the crystal clear “bandiera blu” water, the history of the old town castle and the magnificent bay quickly explains the reason of this name.

The villa has been renovated in the respect of the original builder's idea (my father) and of the local materials and traditions. 
It overlook the sea from a 40 meters cliff and has a private way down to the sea, a private swimming pool and a large garden.

The villa consists in three completely separated and independent apartments, divided by two doors.
Locking these two doors the three apt can be rented separately. 

The independence and privacy of customers is guaranteed for each apartment.

The villa can also be rented in the whole; in this case we can just unlock those two doors, and the whole villa is available for one big family or group of friends. 
In this case the total capacity of the villa is 14 persons.

POOL
The stunning sea-view over the cliff pool, is an out of the ground pool, 1m25 dept, 4m length, 2m5 large. 
It is located in the closest-to-the-sea part of the garden, and you can have an idea of the location in the pictures. The area around the pool is equipped with shower, chairs and sun beds for sunbathing. 
NOTE: the pool is available from May to October and the biweekly maintenance is included in the rental.

PRIVATE ACCESS TO THE SEA
Near the swimming pool there is a private access to the sea. 
This way down is not recommended for kids below the age of 6 because it's pretty steep, but the landscape is just wonderful.

There is a stone Barbecue area (that is reserved to the Main Apt).

There is enough space to park up to 5 cars, in the garden.

    Beautiful modern villa with sea views, all the conveniences, great aircon, best equipped kitchen we have ever had in a rental, great outdoor living areas and plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms for friends and family. Host was very helpful including with local business referral we needed during our travel. Castro is a beautiful coastal village and this house is walking distance - though via a busy road with no shoulder. Please be aware walking requires use of lots of stairs down to marina restaurant area or up to centro storico restaurant area. There are parking lots you can use to get close and have less stairs so don't let that deter you.

    The house was amazing! Such a beautiful location and view. The house manager Paolo was extremely helpful and responsive and even helped us get our tire replaced! We loved our evenings on the balcony looking at the beautiful view, as the house was beautifully designed. Would definitely recommend, and can’t wait to come back!

    Lucky me that I got to stay in this beautiful, peaceful place in Puglia for my first visit! Sergio’s home was stunning & Paolo was a true gem. They were both very responsive, communication was 🤌🏻 Paolo went above & beyond to make me feel right at home and offered recommendations. The property is clean & stunning & a perfect home base for visiting southern Puglia. There is a short “hike” down to the ocean from the home which is private & beautiful. I spent an evening reading in the pool overlooking the ocean (!!!) and then had an amazing apéro & dinner down the road at Ristorante Bar La Zinzulusa (great seafood pasta) & Nicola's Bar Chiosco/Ristorante Zinzulusa Castro (where I had the best calamari I have ever had). Lecce is only about 35-45 minutes away by car. Other beautiful small towns nearby especially for swimming. The local beach club Lido La Sorgente was perfect for a day & the Marina in general. I can’t wait to come back :) GRAZIE

Paolo, who works with Silvio, went above and beyond to give us recommendations and to arrange a chef-cooked meal in the house. The house is even more beautiful than the pictures and is perfectly laid out for multiple families. The pool is lots of fun, especially for the little ones. The bravest among us dared the waves and jumped into the sea. You can walk to the town center/piazza or the harbor. Highly recommended!!

    Nous avons passé un excellent sejour dans la magnifique ville de Castro. L'accueil et l'aide de notre hôte, Paolo, ont été precieux et appréciés.     Oh the views! Rental is amazing, photos don’t do it justice! The top floor apt is large and well furnished. The grounds are gorgeous all these beautiful stone walkways taking you towards the spectacular view. Pool is small but refreshing and we walked down to the Grotto and rented a chair and umbrella at the huge pool there. You can access the sea too from the house although a steep walk. AC is cold and fantastic we slept great! Can’t recommend enough we’ll be back for sure. Thanks to Paolo for being so helpful and gracious.

    L’appartement de Sergio est vraiment une perle! Tout y est, rien ne manque. Très bien situé avec une vue magnifique sur l’Adriatique, c’est un endroit calme où il fait bon de relaxer après une journée de visite bien remplie. Je recommande cet endroit sans hésiter.     Traumhaft schöne Villa mit faszinierendem Meerblick! Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Aufteilung der Zimmer, das Inventar und die Liebe zum Detail hat uns sehr beeindruckt. Alles ist sehr durchdacht und mit viel Liebe entstanden. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder! Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war immer gegeben und es wurde auf all unsere Wünsche ohne wenn und aber eingegangen! Vielen Dank für alles!

    Cette vue 😍 Le logement de Sergio a été pour nous l’apothéose de notre séjour dans les pouilles, on serait bien resté la bas. La terrasse, la piscine, l’accès privée à une crique et la vue sur la mer forment un petit paradis sur terre. Nous avions l’appartement en bas à droite pour 4 personnes il me semble, tout était très fonctionnel et propre. Paolo qui s’occupe du lieu a été très accueillant et flexible pour notre arrivée. On vous le recommande à 1000%.
